XEvents is committed to protecting the personal information of organisers, attendees, speakers, and exhibitors who use the platform. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We align our practices with the South African Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Information we collect
Account details (name, email, organisation), event content you publish, registration data submitted by attendees, and standard technical logs needed to operate the service.
How we use it
To run your events, send transactional and event communications, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve the platform. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing
We use trusted sub-processors (such as our hosting, email, and payment providers) bound by data protection terms. Attendee data is shared with the organising tenant of the event you registered for, and never with other tenants.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with legal obligations. You can request export or deletion at any time.
Your rights
